Yes. All charitable gifts to the IMB are ultimately determined by IRS rules and regulations for charitable giving. As an IRS-approved nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, your gift is eligible as tax deductible. However, each individual taxpayer should work carefully with their tax professional to ensure their charitable goals are met or exceeded in completing each gift.
One hundred percent of gifts to IMB go directly toward overseas work. All administrative costs are provided for through the Cooperative Program, investment income, and other designated receipts.
The IMB accepts most forms of outright gifts. For gifts involving real estate or property, please contact Ministry Advancement by phone at 804-353-0151 or by email at generosity@imb.org to identify if your specific gift qualifies under our acceptance policies.
Upon receipt of your qualified gift, IMB will issue a tax-deductible receipt via USPS for checks and cash, or an electronic receipt for all gifts given via our website. We aim to issue a receipt within two weeks of receiving the gift, as well as an annual giving summary by the end of January for the prior year.
