Hello, I’m Billy, Director of Development for the International Mission Board (IMB). I’ve been with the IMB since August of 2001. My experience in development work began in 1989 at East Texas Baptist University (ETBU) where I served until moving to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) in 1993. I served as Director of Annual and Planned Giving until moving to the IMB in 2001. I hold a membership in the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

My wife, Ruth, and I are members of the First Baptist Church in Richmond, Va. We are members of the “Mustard Seed” Sunday School class, where I serve as one of the substitute teachers. We both serve in various other areas of responsibility. Natalie, born in 1982 is our only child and lives in Nashville, Tenn. I like to jog and exercise in the mornings. My most time intensive hobby is leather craft.

I can assist you with answers to questions you may have in making a gift to the IMB. You can contact me if you desire to further the work of the IMB with a cash gift, gift of stock, real estate or a planned gift.
