Hello, my name is Linda Lee. I came to the International Mission Board in 1973, when it was still the Foreign Mission Board. I worked as a “floater” the summer of my freshman year in college and was blessed to come away with more than just a summer paycheck! I also got a husband! At that time there could only be one family member working here and since Dan was here first, I thought it only fair that I be the one to leave. After 25 years of homemaking and raising five children I came back! I started as a temp in 2000 and soon began working full time in the World Hunger & Relief Department. In May 2005 I came to Development. It has been a pleasure to get to work with this group of dedicated people. I look forward to getting to know our donors and being of service to them.

Dan and I have been married for 31 years and we have five children, Laura, Daniel, Joshua, Matthew and Katie. In addition, we also have a Golden Retriever named Mia, two Siamese cats, Tabitha and Asparagus, and a parakeet named Jackie!

We have been members of Grove Avenue Baptist Church since 1997. I enjoy singing in the choir and attending various activities and classes that are offered at Grove. I have been involved in many church activities through the years – sometimes I volunteered, sometimes I was “drafted!” Among those are Sunday School teacher, GA’s leader, nursery worker, VBS worker and Women’s Ministry.

I don’t have a lot of “spare” time, but when I do, I enjoy cooking, reading, painting, needlework, gardening, walking the dog with Dan and spending time with my family.
