When I came to the prayer office on July 1, 2004, one of my first priorities was to develop a vision statement with my team that would express what we would be striving, under the power and leadership of the Holy Spirit, to fulfill.
After several brainstorming sessions, rewrites, and much prayer, we arrived at our statement: ”Southern Baptists: a praying people impacting a lost world!“ You may be assured that we are marshalling all of our skills, talents and resources toward this strongly desired end. We are confident that as Southern Baptists are enthusiastically challenged, effectively equipped, and properly informed about all aspects of missions praying, they will become boldly effective intercessors impacting not only their personal and local environments, but the entire world.
I sincerely pray that you will find CompassionNet to be a significant help to you as you pray for our missionary personnel and the lost, right up to the ”ends of the earth.“Thank you for joining us and propelling us one step closer to the fulfillment of our vision. Your prayers DO make a difference!
