Please pray for a new church plant in east Helsinki, Finland. Praise God for healthy churches that multiply and for the Lord’s faithfulness in sending workers for the harvest; the sending church for this new church plant was begun by an IMB representative many years ago! The new church has begun services at a local culture center, located near an older shopping center surrounded by a large Muslim population, mostly people from northern Africa and the Middle East. Women from that region are largely marginalized and unreached in Finland. Pray as they reach the community through sports and regular church gatherings that the gospel of Jesus Christ would go forth and be received with joy. Pray that new believers will want to share with their friends and family. Pray also for the unity of the team to work fervently with passion for Jesus.
