Your talents as a player, coach, manager or administrator are needed to advance the Good News in a dark place! Have you ever imagined the Lord using your love for the game and talent on the football field as a pathway to make the gospel known in dark places? Flag Football is becoming more and more popular in the world with its addition to the upcoming 2028 Olympic Games in LA. Like many other sports, the football field is a natural gathering place for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together for social engagement and physical activity. This means it's a perfect place to forge relationships and open up avenues to tell of the hope that comes in Christ alone.

Other Requirements

  • Residency - An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Active members of Southern Baptist churches receive a subsidy, which includes travel to/from Orientation/Debrief at ILC, room and board at Orientation/Debrief, travel to/from the field, immunizations, emergency insurance. There is no subsidy for applicants who are not members of a Southern Baptist Church. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset the additional, subsidized field cost expenditure for the student. These monies may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
