Nadia and her two younger sisters ran into a believer in the “souk” (market) and invited the young woman to dinner with them. She quickly asked if she was a Muslim, but the young woman explained that she was a Christian and then shared the gospel with her. Nadia listened and explained that she had met three Christians in her life who had shared the same story with her. She stated that she loved the story, but that she was a Muslim and “her life is her culture and her culture is her religion.” The friendship has since grown. Nadia and her believing friend love spending time together. Nadia brings Jesus up every time they are together and asks questions about how her friend views the world as a follower of Jesus. She is adamant, though, that she does not believe it is truth. Pray that even though Nadia seems turned off to believing the truth of the gospel, she will continue asking questions and learning more about who Jesus is. Pray that she will come to a saving faith that is not based on anything she could do herself, but one that comes only through Jesus.
