IMB offers opportunities based on the length of time and the type of role you desire to serve. Timeframes include mid-term (2 months – 2 years) or long-term (minimum of 3 years) roles. IMB provides two basic roles on teams: Team Members or Team Associates. Team members can be directly funded by their sending church or receive full or partial funding through IMB, and therefore have more qualifications and expectations. Team Associates are typically self-funded through retirement, acquiring a job overseas, or studying abroad.
