Position Description
Field Support Missionaries are fully funded by the IMB. The primary responsibility of a Field Support Missionary is to provide vital support services for the IMB as well as missionary teams. Field Support Missionaries engage in the missionary task both in their work, and as part of local missionary teams. Field Support Missionaries are considered IMB employees and, as a result, receive full benefits and services.
Funding Source
The Field Support Missionary is fully funded through IMB. Through the generous and sacrificial giving of Southern Baptists to the Cooperative Program and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, FSMs are supported and enabled to devote their time to supporting IMB missionary teams engaged in the missionary task.
