Kiriath-Jearim at Tel Kerioth is the site where the Ark of the Covenant was kept before it was returned to Jerusalem. Today, the Our Lady of the Ark of the Covenant Church in Abu Ghosh, Israel, is said to occupy the site where the house of Abinadab once stood. It was in Abinadab’s house that the Ark of the Covenant was held until King David moved it to Jerusalem.
