Pray for churches in the United States to be encouraged and inspired after a worker shared information and opportunities while in the U.S. Pray for more partnerships to develop and for Christians in the U.S. to "catch a vision" for being a part of the work to reach South Asian peoples.

(ben-GAH-lee) - Pray for the Khalifa, a Sunni Muslim community in Bengal with a population of 8,500. Pray that the Khalifa people will crave knowledge beyond their religious traditions, ceremonies, and current beliefs and encounter Jesus as their only Savior. Ask that the believing neighbors of the Khalifa will be moved with compassion to share the gospel with them. Pray for members of the Khalifa people group to repent, believe, be baptized, and begin to meet in church.

(KAHN-kin) - Pray that leaders will be wise in making decisions that protect local harvest workers against unhealthy dependence on outside resources. Intercede for local ownership of the task of the Great Commission on the Konkan Coast. Pray for local harvest workers to be Spirit-led about when to move to new areas of work.

(moom-BYE) - Give thanks to the Lord for new believers--Monika and her husband! Monika surrendered to the Lord and has left the red-light area. Pray that they will be discipled well in the Lord, and ask that other women in those areas of Mumbai will follow Monika's example.

(pun-JAH-bees) - Fewer than 1% of the more than 110 million people who live in Punjab province in Pakistan consider themselves to be Christian. Of that 1%, many are Christian in name only and not by conviction. Ask the Lord to pour out His Spirit on Punjab province, and pray that millions of Punjabis will come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, putting their whole faith and trust in Him. Pray for the believers living in the interior of the province. Ask the Lord to lead those believers not only to be faithful in sharing their faith in Christ with their Muslim-majority community neighbors and friends, but also to disciple new believers. Pray that they will be bold in their gospel-sharing efforts and see much fruit from all their labors for God's kingdom. "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV).
