Adam is a local, traditional Muslim musician. That’s right, you heard correctly! In Cape Town, music figures big in religious practices, with choirs singing in huge competitions every year. Music is even heard in the mosques. One mosque has been so known for its religious tunes that it is affectionally called “The Singing Mosque.” Recently, there was a video made of one of these choirs rehearsing for the choir competition. The song they were rehearsing? “Agnus Dei” by Michael W. Smith! Pray for these choirs, asking that they will know personally the Lamb of God about whom they sing. Pray for Adam to make his “joyful noise” in praise of the true Lord.
