“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!'” (Luke 2:13-14 ESV). Again this Christmas, the believers living in Sudan are faced with sobering conflict, horrific strife, desperate homelessness, and economic hardship. Their celebrations of Christmases past may be becoming a fading memory. Pray for the believers in Sudan to continue to give glory to God, raising their hands and hearts to Him in praise. Ask God to give them the gifts of joy, hope, and peace this Christmas. As they reach out to their Muslim neighbors, pray for believers to give the gifts of comfort and hope. Pray for there to be peace on earth in Sudan.
