Become a Journeyman

Ready to take your faith globally? The Journeyman Program is a fully-funded, two-year opportunity for young adults (ages 21-29) to serve internationally, share the gospel, and make disciples. You’ll be sent by your local church and become part of an international missionary team, working to plant churches and show the love of Jesus, while being developed as a missionary.

Over two years, you’ll:

  • Be immersed in a new culture and language
  • Be mentored by experienced missionaries
  • Make disciples and help plant churches
  • Grow in faith, leadership, and ministry skills

You’re not doing this alone! From day one, you’ll be guided and supported by a team that’s all-in on helping you thrive.

Your journey kicks off with Jumpstart Conference, a fun and focused two-day event where you’ll connect with other Journeymen and get practical training. Then, you’ll dive into Field Personnel Orientation – seven weeks of hands-on learning that ends with a special commissioning service.

Journeymen serve two-year terms. After your term ends, you’ll attend Beyond Conference – a time to reflect, celebrate, and look ahead. Many Journeymen go on to long-term missions, graduate school, or jobs where they continue making an impact. No matter what’s next, you’ll come back loving Jesus even more and passionate about reaching the nations.

Whether you’re into teaching, sports, coffee shop ministry, university outreach, or community development, there’s a role for you! You’ll develop practical skills while sharing the gospel and making disciples.

    Testimonials

“I left home full of myself and returned full of Him—humbled, changed, and committed to the God who is so much greater than I ever knew.”

    – Jeremy

“I did not know that this international city was going to grab my heart, captivate it at times, and shatter it at others for the nations. There is something so devastatingly thrilling, yet utterly exhausting about the hustle and bustle of life in an urban context. Living in this massive city has taught me to love with urgency but not with haste.”

    – Rachel
